Lisa’s Take on Life: Don’t Let the Past Rob the Future

Spring

Posted on: March 21, 2009

Happy Vernal Equinox to everyone.

It’s finally starting to smell like spring, too.  There are some warm days earlier in the season that are just warm days.  But once the smell is there, you know it’s spring.  Spring has a smell.  Fall has a smell.  Summer is a potpourri of smells.  Winter?  Just dead.  But it sometimes has sounds.  Lovely sounds.  The sounds of snowflakes falling against branches on a quiet night.  The crackle of flames in a fireplace.

But oh, how glad I am that it’s seeming more spring-like, and now officially is spring.

Enjoy!

I love the morning you first walk outside and smell spring. It’s so wonderful.

Indeed, spring does have a smell. I’m so happy it is finally smelling like spring ! It is also great to wake up and hear some birds sing!
